Just 60 kilometers in the west of Ha Noi, Duong Lam is becoming more and more popular destination to both local and international trekkers. The village is widely known as museum of laterite preserving unique architecture and culture essences of northern Vietnam in the past. Following one day excursion to Duong Lam Village, guests could take the chance to visit renowned temples honoring to Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen kings, special brick ancient houses and many other relic sites while wandering narrow alleyways and talking with hospitable local people.

Tour Program

AM: Back to the origins

08:00 AM: Leaving the downtown hotel to the westward, we would soon reach Duong Lam Ancient village. Getting off for short walk on tiny unique alleys to visit Mong Phu Temple and Mong Phu Hamlet. Then we keep wandering to some of most notable ancient houses, having small talks with them then enjoy the lunch with local hosts.

PM: In the afternoon

For leisure time, we take the drive to Mia Pagoda to admire nearly 3 hundreds statues with most famous ones of Buddha in the Himalayas and Eight Vajra Deities. We continue cultural exploration to Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung Temples where worshipping two kings born in the decent village.

Taking drive back to Ha Noi and finish the tour around 05:00 PM.
