Tour Program

Day 1 (L,D): Ha Noi - Thai Nguyen - Ba Be National Park (240kms/7 hours)

Car comes to pick you up from the hotel for tour set – off. Passing by sprawling farmland along Red River Delta, we would soon reach Thai Nguyen Town. Having lunch at local restaurant, then it is worth entering Museum of Vietnam Ethic Groups for comprehensive displays on costumes, belongings and cultural activity images. Leaving Thai Nguyen Museum behind, we keep trekking to Ba Be National Park and boating to Tay Village. Taking dinner before homestaying in local house.

Day 2 (B,L): Ba Be Cao Bang (120kms/4 hours)

Having breakfast with the host, we start up exploring Ba Be where you could catch the stunning views of over 300 kinds of butterflies in the lush forest, take the cruising boat on Ba Be Lake and trek to Dau Dang waterfall. Then heading down to the jeep, we move to the north through rugged mountains and get to the city of Cao Bang. Stay overnight in the hotel in town.

Day 3 ( B, D) Ban Gioc Waterfall (85kms/2.5 hours)

Riding to Ban Gioc waterfall which cascades 53 meters high and spans over 300 meters wide nearby Chinese border. On arrival, guests would truly back to nature when enjoying unique landscapes, limestone karts formations and fresh stream of water. On the way back to Cao Bang for overnight, we would stop at expansive Nguom Ngoan Cavern to see brilliant stalactites.

Day 4 (B,L): Cao Bang - Lang Son (140kms/4 hours)

In the morning we would climb up to the War Memorial for final panoramic views from the hill of Cao Bang Province. Hopping on the jeep, we take the drive to Lang Son on winding ways through steep mountains. The next destination boasts to many important crossing, ethnic minorities of Dzao, Man, Tho, Nung and vibrant commercial gates with neighboring China. We carry on to Lang Son before the dark to take dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 (B,L): Lang Son Ha Noi (160kms/3.5 hours)

Lang Son is widely known as trading post, so we should shop around some local markets of Ky Lua and Dong Kinh where everything from gadgets to house wares, canned fruits to electronics is on sales. Remember to bargain and carefully check for reasonable prizes and good commodities. After that we would take the time to visit Mac Dynasty Citadel, Tam Thanh Caves, and Nhi Thanh Caves before the lunch and departing to Ha Noi. Along the highway with four lane divided, over 160 kilometers on jeep, we would reach Ha Noi at the end of this day and finishing the trip.
