The ancient town of Hoi An is located nearby Cua Dai where the Thu Bon River meets Danang Sea. It used to be the most busting trade center in South East Asia during 16th and 17th centuries while Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Dutch merchants landed and exchanging commodities. Coming along with trading process, Hoi An was built as harmonious multicultural combination. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List on the 4th, December 1999 for the well-preserved rich cultures vestiges for many generations.
